Bobby and Sally Ackbarali had achieved an unparalleled record of success in their native Trinidad and Tobago before migrating to Canada. They have the recipe and all the ingredients for making any woman feel beautiful and simply unconquerable. Their fashion couture designs for bridal and international pageant industries feature trademark originality, detailed workmanship, exclusive fabrics, and delicate beading - which are perfectly harmonised to create gorgeous custom garments. Bobby and Sally have designed and created award winning gowns and costumes for nearly thirty years. More than 125 pageant title holders have benefi ted from their experience in the international pageant industry including Giselle Laronde, Miss World 1986 (Trinidad & Tobago), Althea Rocke, top seven at Miss World 1982 (Trinidad & Tobago), Tijana Arnautovic, Miss World 2004 (Canada), Cristina Rémond, Miss Universe Canada 2001 (Canada), Andrea Garnett, Miss Black Ontario 1988 (Canada).

The doctor's eyes were very sorrowful. He apologised and told us that he could not find a heartbeat. Mary-Lou started breathing heavily, repeating, “No, no, no.” I tried to hug her but it was very awkward because of how she was lying. I didn’t know what to think or say; I just focused on Mary-Lou, trying to hold her. Mary-Lou started groaning, then crying, then stopped and just stared at the ceiling. Hundreds of things were going through my head about what this meant – memories of our hopes, confusion about what needed to happen next, fears of it’s implications on Mary-Lou.
